Denver sits in second place with 42 standings points (each conference regulation win counts as three points, overtime wins two points, and overtime losses one point). That's just a two-point lead on third-place St. Cloud State, with Colorado College in fourth place two more points back with 38. Omaha is also in the picture for a top four seed with 34 points. The top four teams in the conference host the first round of the tournament, which begins next weekend.
